Hydrogen + Fuel Cells 2011
International Conference and Exhibition
999 Canada Place (East Hall)
May 15 – 18, 2011
Vancouver, BC, Canada
After two years of planning, Hydrogen + Fuel Cells 2011: International Conference and Exhibition (HFC2011) attracted more than 850 delegates from 27 countries to experience and learn about the latest advances in hydrogen and fuel cell technology.
- Opening keynote address by BC Premier Christy Clark where she announced $870,000 in provincial funding for the development of the world’s first small-scale hydrogen liquefaction plant to be built in North Vancouver.
- High-level keynote sessions featuring international leaders from the hydrogen and fuel cell sector helped set the tone for the event. A comprehensive conference program featuring informative business and technical sessions at HFC2011 was a result of an overwhelmingly high response to our “Call for Abstracts” – more that 380 submissions and 220 presenters.
- Taking place at the Vancouver Convention Centre, the HFC2011 exhibition showcased more than 44 exhibitors with a variety of hydrogen and fuel cell applications including forklifts, stationary power generation, fuelling, automobiles and back-up power.
- The successful promotion of the free public days with more than 250 participants from industry members to students to investors and those looking to cross over into our exciting sector.
The Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association would like to thank HFC2011 partners, sponsors, exhibitors, technical committees, speakers, volunteers and delegates for helping make the event resounding success!
